I have recently photographed our house for the fabulous French magazine Milk Decor. So I am sharing a very small sneak of a photo here. We moved homes a wee while ago and we are still sorting through and changing things around. I have also decided that a few cookie jars may be heading online here for sale. So watch this space.

my next door neighbours at Magnolia Square are the lovely girls from The Cupcake Wrapper Company, so how could I not go home without a little vintage clown cake topper. I have no idea when I will ever get my bake on – especially as we have a fifties chef cooker that looks great but bakes terribly. Magnolia Square is on again tomorrow between 10am -4p at the Malvern Town Hall.

This Thursday we are taking the shop to magnolia square at the Malvern Town Hall. Corner of Glenferrie Road and High Street in yep you guessed it Malvern. Open Thursday 28 April 10am-9pm, Friday 29 April 10am-5pm and Saturday 10am-4pm. We are reducing some of our products as now that we have decided to close the shopfront there will be more than a few good bargains. Also our Camberwell Market saga continues 8 May, 22 May, 5 June and 19 June. There will also be a garage /shop sale sometime soon. We’ll keep you posted

times are a changing

We have made the decision to close our shop front in North Melbourne, with no more open for appointments either. So the time has come to sell off our bigger items at Camberwell Market. We have been there the last 2 weeks and have many more stalls booked, including the next 2 weekends / Sundays. I will also be trying add items to this website regularly – something which hasn’t happened in quite a while. So please keep coming back and have a nosey around. We’re about to tackle our storage so who knows what we may find. So a big thankyou to all of our customers and supporters who have visited the shop over the past few years. We will still be using the space but taking it in a slightly different direction later in the year.

Tomorrow sees us heading across town to set up our Magnolia Square stall at the St Kilda Town Hall. I’ve created a sweet range of children’s t-shirts and have uploaded a few on the handmade section of our website… as well as a great selection of custom framed vintage book illustrations, new card designs and loads more. So the North Melbourne shopfront will be closed this Thurs – Sat. Instead shopping hours at Magnolia Square are Thurs 2 Dec 5pm-10pm, Fri 3 Dec 10am-5pm, Sat 4 Dec 10am-5pm and Sun 5 Dec 10am-4pm.

spring cleaning

We’re now back from our sneaky overseas holiday and the spring cleaning has begun, now I just need to organise, re-organise, photograph and upload stuff. We will be re-opening our real world shop too come November and have found some old and brand new goodies to stock the now-not-dusty shelves. And we’re also in the development some new and exciting plans and things, so fingers crossed…
